LG was too smart to know that all these geek hate to buy small accessories like an add-on keyboard for their expensive gadgets. So, LG came up with Versa, a Touchscreen Phone with a detachable full QWERTY keyboard. The LG Versa Phone has a 2 megapixel camera with face detection and video recording, a microSD expansion slot and GPS. It’ll be available starting March 1 for $249.99 on contract from Verizon before a $50 mail-in rebate. According to the specifications given by Verizon, When you attach the keyboard the home screen “is transformed into a sizzling, animated 3D interface.” There’s an HTML Web browser with Flash and support for three windows at once, an accelerometer, and the ability to sync music with Rhapsody. Text messaging is threaded. The 640×480 video recording, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, GPS, visual voice mail, voice dialing, a 2.5-mm headset jack, a speakerphone, and various other goodies. A 3″, 240×480 touch screen and a detachable QWERTY keyboard make this Cell Phone a must have for SMS Freaks.
