Nokia Announces 5730, 5330 XpressMusic and 5030 XpressRadio Handsets

Nokia has recently announced the launch of three new handsets in the market. These new phones are targeted towards Music lovers.  The first one of the line, 5730 XpressMusic is a slide open QWERTY Phone, the 5330 XpressMusic is a simple slider and 5030 XpressRadio is a candybar phone. All these phones support access to the Nokia Music Store which is now supported in 15 countries.

The Nokia 5730 will be available for purchase in the 3rd Quarter if this year and will cost $360.  It will have 128 MB of RAM and up to 140 MB of internal storage memory. The Nokia 5730 is Nokia’s first QWERTY device optimized for both music and gaming with dedicated audio and N-Gage keys just like the Nokia N81.

Nokia 5730 XpressMusic will feature a 2 inch 16M colored QVGA display, a built-in GPS receiver, Bluetooth and USB connectivity. It will have a 3.2 Megapixel Camera with Carl Zeiss. It will also have 3G with video-call support.

The 5330 slider is priced at $330 and has a 3.5-mm Audio Jack. It sports Music touch keys on the side of the display for easy music navigation. It has a slightly bigger Screen than the Nokia 5730. The Screen is a 2.4″ True Colour TFT,  having a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels (QVGA) and 16M colors.

The Phone has Combo memory of 64 MB flash and 32 MB RAM and a Hot Swap microSD card slot for extending memory. For the eye-candy, illumination effects have been added to the phone. The battery is sufficient for 26-hours of continuous Audio Playback. this phone will be available for purchase later this year.

The Last one and the cheapest of this product line, The 5030 XpressRadio has a built in FM antenna. The built-in antenna eliminates the need of connecting the headphone while listening to Radio. It is Nokia’s first model which is capable of playing radio without connecting Headphone. It has 1.8 inch TFT screen having 65K colors and a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels. The Phone has a 2.5 mm Nokia AV connector and gives 24 hours of continous Radio Playback. The phone also has a torch and Dedicated radio and channel selection keys. It will hit the stores in April and will cost $50.
