Must Have iPad Cydia Tweaks

For Apple puritan advocates, the iPad is a beautiful union of form and function, and thus should be thoroughly enjoyed in its most unspoiled form, naked as its first unboxing day. Legit geeky gangsters and iOS radicals think otherwise.

1. Auxo

There is no use jailbreaking your iPad if you haven’t used Auxo yet. The app has been touted as one of the best jailbreaking breakthrough (excuse the pun) since Apple’s iOS has never come up with an efficient app switcher.

With Auxo’s abilities, webOS-like app cards and quick access to Settings toggles, it helps declutter your iPad and enhance the overall experience. It has sophisticated music controls, a customizable set of toggles, and superior app management for your device.

You can double press the home button to bring up Auxo. Then, swiping to the right makes you take advantage of its music controls; another right swipe, to pull up a set of system toggles ready for customization. You can swipe down an app’s screenshot within the app switcher to close it down and do a long press on a single screenshot to close all apps. You can see all preferences in customizing Auxo’s functionality and toggles within the Settings app.

2. SwipeSelection

If you use your iPad for more than just gaming and watching videos, then you need to have SwipeSelection. Writing important documents and other text-related activities becomes a smoother experience in your device with this text editing app.

You know how it’s a tad difficult to point your cursor at the exact place where you need to edit? SwipeSelection fixes that. Its small blue can be dragged to highlight a word or phrase that needs editing.

3. Gridlock

The placement of icons in iOS is restricted to fixed locations on the grid layout of the springboard. Gridlock allows you some creativity and freedom in arranging icons however you want on your iPad’s homescreen. This is especially fun when you want the apps to set off a lovely wallpaper.

4. Multifl0w

Multifl0w is similar to Mac OS X’s “Expose” and “Spaces” in iOS. This hack looks amazing on the iPad’s big screen, allowing you to see currently running aps like how browsing multiple tabs in Safari works on the iPad. It can be activated using your preferred activator action, and can replace the basic multitasking process in iOS.
