4 Cool Tricks Your iPad Can Do

Everyone knows the iPad is one of the most popular gadgets in the world today, but few actually understand what all it can do. There are a number of things that you can do with your iPad to customize it or to engage in activities that a lot of people don’t use. Here are four cool tricks for your iPad:

1. Pimp My Screen

Using Pimp My Screen makes it possible to completely customize your iPad screen. With this application, you can put your apps on shelves to give them a completely different and organized look. With this application, you can even set up icons skins to change the way your icons look. With Pimp My Screen, you can transform the way your iPad looks when using it.

2. Make it a Digital Picture Frame

Having a digital picture frame in your house can be awesome, because it lets you cycle through some of your favorite picture frames to look at when you walk by. Instead of going out and buying a separate digital picture frame, you can just use the iPad to do the same thing.

To set your iPad up as a digital picture frame, you’ll need to go into the settings and click on “Picture Frame.” Once in a section of the settings, you can change the settings such as the transitions from one picture to another, how long each picture should be up, and other items.

3. Home Sharing

If don’t have home sharing set up on your iPad, you are not utilizing the tool up to its full potential. With home sharing, you can automatically share all of your photos, videos and other content between devices on the same network. For example, if you take a picture with your iPhone, it can immediately be transferred to your iPad through the Wi-Fi. Set this up in the settings of your iPad.

4. Use Shorthand

If you are the type of person who likes to send text messages or emails, you can set up your iPad to use shorthand. This way, you won’t have to type as many words to get your message across. Go to Settings, General, Keyboard, and Add New Shortcut to input the information.

Once you get used to what your iPad can do, you probably won’t want to use any other gadgets. If you don’t have one yet, check out Techforless.com to see some good deals on iPad and other items.
