13 Awesome and Geeky Periodic Tables

Mar 24, 2009 by Uzair 12 Comments

All of us have seen the Periodic Table of Elements in our school. I always hated to look at that Long Table of Elements, half of them which I still don’t remember. But these cool Periodic Tables of things other than the Chemical Elements are cool and worth taking a look at. Click on the images to view them in Full Resolution. Hope you like it.

I wish that when I was in high school this fun to look at periodic tables were around. Maybe I would’ve caught on faster. *smile*

Periodic Tables are called that because they put items with similar characteristics in the same column.

These tables are the kind of disaster that happens when the scientifically illiterate co-opt a design element without understanding what the original does. They could have all been SO much better.

I don’t think any of those are as good as the “Look Around You” periodic table:

I'm sick of seeing these "Periodic Tables". I can't wait for this phase to pass.
